June 2016 reading

I usually view young adult as stupid or cheesy, but I loved this. First book I read entirely in one day. It held my interest completely with the twist. Beautifully written and explained so that even I could visualize life on the island. The weather is bringing on the feelings of easy reads, of course my pessimism mixed in with the calm of a summer breeze or the smell of rain.

I actually just started this, I watched the movie dozens of times, but never read the book. I remember high school circa 2002 seeing the book in several peoples hands, but never had the attention span to sit and read something of interest until I was almost 30. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
